Apples for Teach

Apples for Teach - It is time for another challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity and Alphabet Challenge Blog. Our challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is Back to School and at Alphabet Challenge Blog is one work sentiments.

My Designer Paper is MME Ruby.

My image is Mary Margaret by Michelle Perkett. I love Michelle's warm, whimsical style. I colored Mary Margaret with Copics, then fussy cut her. I matted her useing SB Labels 4 and Gold Labels 4. I accented the cut with some tiny black gemstones.

My sentiment is SU; as is the punch that cut it out.  I used a small piece of ribbon. The small flowers are Recollections and the larger one, I picked up at the convention.

Sunset

Sunset - Good Evening, sweet friends. It is time for another challenge at The Sweet Pea Stampers. Our challenge this fortnight is fantasy. Fantasy is what first drew me to Sweet Pea Stamper. I am enchanted by the mermaids and other fantasy images of Ching Chou Kuik. There is something about these images that just draw me in.

My image is ching-chou kuik- Spring Night  single rubber stamp. Also available in multi plate ching-chou kuik's sheet 18, plate 53

I colored her with Copics, then added lots of Stickles to her "legs" and a little bit to her scarf and head flowers. I used raspberry fritz Flower Soft to the cattails.

My flowers are another of Susan's Garden Sixxits Dies. I used my Copics to add some deeper color to the center of the petal, then I shaped them using Susan's tool kit. The leaves are SU die. I finished off the card with a bow that was tied using my Bow Easy and my final touch was to use a stick pin from the stick pin swap that I recently did.

I started with some papers by Imagination. I actually used 2 sheets. I cut the boat and helicopter out, added some fine glitter on the red parts and pop dotted them up.

My swirls are a MD die. I added some frosted pearls on the tips.

Broom

Broom - This image from Sassy Studio Designs reminds me of the sitcom "Bewitched." I loved that show.

Our challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is travel and we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs. I chose this image called Sassy Witch. Everyone knows that witches ride brooms and this Sassy girl, looks that she could go far!

I Colored her with Copics. I had fun with my background, making a night sky that was still light enough to show her off.

My DP is Cloud 9, Harvest Holiday.

The sentiment is SU, used with the corresponding punch.

My lily's are Sizzix Susan's Garden. I love these dies!

I added some glow in the dark glitter to the papers. It is really fun at night, but it doesn't photograph at all glowing.

Chicken Scratch

Chicken Scratch - I'm a little behind in filling in the details about this card. I have a house full of grandchildren visiting from out of state. They start leaving tomorrow, so I have been getting lots of hugs and kissed in today. :))))

My card is my DT card for Creative Card Crew. We are sponsored by the Scrapping Center, a great place to get your crafty things.

Our challenge for you this fortnight is Down on the Farm. We are looking for farm/country themes.

I started my card off with white core black paper and I borrowed this fabulous chicken wire embossing folder, which I then sanded.

My image is also borrowed from the same friend. I have on idea who the image is manufacturer by.

My sentiment is hand done by me. I thought it would be fun to do some chicken scratch.

Wings

Wings - The summer is coming to an end, but I have this card to hold it close a little bit longer. Our challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is summer (sponsored by Crafts 4 Eternity craft shop) and at Alphabet Challenge Blog is to use your newest stamp.

I recently made the design team at The Sweet Pea Stampers, so I just got a bunch of new Sweet Pea digi images and this one by Karen Middleton is titled Alight on Me. I colored this sweet angel with Copics and added some Stickles on the path of the butterflies.

My DP is MME, Breeze. I like the sunny yellows in this pad.

My swirls are made with SB's Floral Flourishes. The flowers were cut from a stem.

My sentiment is SU and the banner is made with Tim Holtz tattered banners.

2 fun and easy challenges, I hope that you will stop by Crafts 4 Eternity and Alphabet Challenge Blog and show us your newest stamp and that it too, will be a summer image.

Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink - At One Stop Craft Challenge, we are looking for projects in pastels! This is my DT card.

My DP is The Paper Studio. This DP was one of the first paper blocks that I bought. I have used it so much and have lots of it in my scrap drawers.

My image is Rory, by our sponsor Ellephantastic. I know that this is a boy image, but I thought this could be a girl with scruffy hair.

When I was in High School, I used to be an aide in a Sunday School class of 5 year olds. We had one little girl who always came dressed to the max in pink ruffles and at Easter she even had white gloves, but she was a Tom boy and would be wrestling with the boys every week. This little Rory could be a Rosy, who like that little girl is just ruff and tumble; no matter how much pink she wears or how many bows are in her hair.

Rory/Rosy is colored with Copics and I added some Stickles to the trim on her shirt.

My border is a MS punch, the sentiment is SU and I finished it off with gemstones.

Corrosion

Corrosion - Good day, crafty friends. Today's challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is to use the colors in corrosion. Don't you just love the rusts with the turquoise? I think they are a lovely color combo.

My image is Fred, She Said Old Truck. It is a fabulous image to practice coloring rust with. I took a class with Suzanne Dean and this was the homework from that class. It was fun to do, but a lot of work. I think I have to much rust and would have liked to have had more of the blue show through.

My papers, to include the tags are Kaiser Crafts, Secret Bird Society Collection. I distressed the papers with my Zutter Distrezz-it tool. I then inked with Rusty Hinge distress inks.

My sentiment and punches are SU.

My die is SB and I cut it in half. The swirly paperclip has been in my stash forever.

Virgo

Virgo - Today's card is my DT card for Seems a Little Sketchy. Seems a Little Sketchy is a fortnightly challenge, so it is perfect for those DT projects that you want to get ahead on and still have it count for a sketch challenge.

Here is our sketch for this fortnight. Tess makes are sketches for us and she does a great job on them.

We are sponsored by Delicious Doodles. Teresa has been doing this amazing series on the zodiac. This is her nice Virgo. She also has a horrorscope Virgo. It is really fun to see her take on this.

I colored her with Copics. I wanted an innocent look, so held off on the Stickles on this card. I cut the image and mat with a SB. Then inked all the papers with Worn Lipstick distress ink.

My flowers are Sixxix Susan's Garden. This one is the daisy. I wanted to echo the daisy in the image. My centers are pearls.

I used a MS punch for the border and a CL die for the scrolly leaves.

I finished off the card with 3 pearls on top.

By Devyn

By Devyn - My 3 year old grandson, loves to hang out with me in my Craft room and he made this card.

The paper is a scrap from my scrap drawer. I am not sure who the manufacturer is. Devyn chose all of the papers. He pushed all of the buttons on my Cricut for the ice cream cone. We used the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. Then he drew the lines on the waffle cone. Devyn likes bling and added 3 gemstones.

Devyn's sentiment and punches are SU. He does a great job of stamping and punching.

Devyn is entering his card in the following challenges:
