Black Swirl

Black Swirl-This mermaid is the first Greeting Farm Stamp that I bought and still remains as my Favorite. I distressed this card and this is a first for me. Usually after I distress, I cut it all off as it looks messy to me. I am so trying to be open to new techniques.
The mermais is colored with Copic. The paper is Miss Elizabeth. Flowers are Prima. and I used Viva Decor in Black Pearl pen for the Pearl drops. and she got an overall spray of Diamond Glimmer Mist.

sneaker

Sneaker - This cut is from the My Community cartridge. I have had it for some time, but I don't believe I have used it before. I can't take credit for this idea as I have see someone else use this shoe cut in this way. All supplies were from my stash.

Under the stars

Under the Stars - I just love the look of joy on the face of this little girls face and how attentive the dog is. This is one of Mo's digi images. I colored her with Copics and all of the cutting of the trees and grass was with Zoo Balloon and my trusty Cricut. Since the theme was camping, I thought it would be make a tent card. These look really dramatic, but are really simple to do. This is my DT card for http://www.hiddentreasureschallenge.blogspot.com/ We only had a few entries last week, so you have a really good change of winning.

Brave Dad

Brave Dad - Who doesn't think there Dad is a super HERO. This digi really appealed to me as my son is in Spider D Corps unit at Texas A&M. Spiderman is there unoffical mascot. Their more offical mascot is a spider.

Baby Bear

Baby Bear - This image is a FREE digi stamp from www.phindysplacechallenge.blogspot.com. Isn't she adorable? She reminds me of my Lindsay when she was little. Lindsay loved her dolls and I'm sure that if she was a bear, she would have had a baby bear, too.
She was colored with Copics - C00, 1, 7, 7, E35, 39, 42, 57, R22,81, 83, 85, Boo, 2, 4, Y11, W1
The image is Phindys and everything else was scraps from my stash.

No Greater Love

No greater love - The challenge this week at the winter wonderland challenge blog for this week is Christmas love. What greater love is there than Christ. The entire Christmas story is about God's love for us; a love so great that he sent his only begotten son to die for us.

Crow

Crow- Black and white seem to be all the rage on many of the challenge blogs this week.
I love this image from the new Wall Decore and more cartridge. This cartridge surprised me. I didn't think I would use it very much; but now that I have really looked over the images, it is my new favorite cartridge. The images are simple, yet elegant. It also has a terrific font. The embossing is with my Cuttlebug.

raining buttons

Raining Buttons - I am trying out for a DT and the challenge was to use black, white and gray only. I wanted to show them that I can do more than cards; so I have posted some album pages as well. The photos are from my daughter, Jennifer's wedding. Wasn't she a beautiful bride?
The card uses a Greeting Farm stamp, what was colored with Copics. The buttons and ribbon flower are from Michael's. The paper is from a black and white pad that I have had for ages. The gemstones were in a surprise package that I recieved from Susana's Custom art and card design. Love her stuff.
For the wedding pages I used some vellum quotes that I bought several years ago. The black scrolly squares and white scrolly triangles are cut with a Cuttlebug die. The banner/horns were cut with my Cricut. This was one of the icons for Sleeping Beauty, Page 52, in the Disney Happily Ever After cartridge.
The challenge blog that I am trying out for is http://www.hiddentreasureschallenge.blogspot.com/ Check them out and put in a good word for me.
